Megan Racing Spec-RS Coilovers – BMW E46 3 Series RWD 1999–2005 – MR-CDK-E46-RS

The Megan Racing MR-CDK-E46-RS Spec-RS Coilover Kit is the track-focused suspension option for compatible BMW E46 3 Series models, providing a much greater level of suspension tuning than Megan Racing’s Euro-series kits. External reservoirs increase oil capacity and allow separate compression and rebound adjustment, helping maintain more consistent damping during sustained high-load and circuit driving.

The system features 32 levels of damper adjustment, full-length ride-height adjustment and pillow-ball front upper mounts with camber plates. Separate spring-perch and shock-length adjustment allows vehicle height to be tuned independently of spring preload, while the external-reservoir design provides additional control for performance suspension setup and corner balancing.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes: RWD non-M E46 applications only. Excludes AWD/xi and E46 M3. Megan Japan also specifically states that 318i Touring/Wagon models are not compatible. Megan Racing notes that the Spec-RS system cannot be adjusted back to factory ride height and is designed to lower the vehicle significantly, which should be considered for road clearance and wheel/tyre fitment. Reservoir-equipped dampers require careful adjustment; Megan Japan warns that incorrect handling of the oil-line connection during ride-height adjustment can damage the damper. Professional installation and setup by an experienced suspension workshop is strongly recommended, followed by final torque checks, clearance checks and a complete wheel alignment.
