The Megan Racing MR-CDK-E36-RS Spec-RS Coilover Kit is the track-focused suspension option for the BMW E36 platform, designed for drivers requiring greater damping control and consistency during aggressive driving and circuit use. The Spec-RS system uses external reservoirs to increase oil capacity and provides separate compression and rebound adjustment for more precise suspension tuning than Megan Racing’s Euro-series E36 coilovers.

The kit features 8K front and 12K rear springs, 32 levels of damping adjustment, full-length ride-height adjustment and pillow-ball upper mounting with front camber adjustment. Separate spring-perch and damper-length adjustment allows ride height to be tuned without relying solely on spring preload, while the external-reservoir arrangement is designed to maintain more consistent damping during sustained high-load driving.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes: Fits BMW E36 3 Series and E36 M3 applications from 1992–1998. 318ti Compact fitment is not specifically confirmed and should be verified before ordering due to its different rear suspension layout. This is a highly adjustable motorsport-oriented suspension system; incorrect reservoir, ride-height or damping adjustment can damage components. Megan Racing Japan specifically warns that damage can occur if the oil-line connection is not correctly handled during height adjustment. Professional installation and setup by an experienced suspension workshop is strongly recommended, followed by final torque checks and a complete wheel alignment.
