Megan Racing Street Engine & Transmission Mounts – BMW E36/E46/Z3 – MRS-BM-0340

The Megan Racing MRS-BM-0340 Street Performance Engine & Transmission Mount Set is designed to reduce excessive drivetrain movement while retaining more street-friendly characteristics than Megan Racing’s Race Version mounts. Firmer mounts create a more direct connection between the drivetrain and chassis, helping improve throttle response, shift feel and drivetrain stability during acceleration and cornering.

The mounts use hardened rubber in place of the softer factory rubber components. Megan Racing Japan states its reinforced mounts are approximately 150% harder than the OEM-style rubber they replace, helping control engine and transmission movement while still providing vibration absorption suitable for street and performance-oriented use. The kit contains four engine/transmission mounts.

Important Fitment & Installation Notes: Firmer drivetrain mounts can transmit more vibration and noise into the cabin than factory mounts. Megan Racing Japan also warns that installation can raise the engine position by approximately several millimetres to 1 cm on some vehicles, which may affect exhaust or driveshaft clearance. Megan Racing designates this product for off-road use only. Professional installation and post-installation clearance checks are strongly recommended. Megan Racing applications use US-market model years, so Australian-market years/specifications may vary.
