Megan Racing Euro lowering springs are designed to lower the first-generation Audi R8 while providing a firmer, more responsive suspension feel and reducing body movement compared with the factory spring setup. The springs are manufactured from SAE 9254 cold-wound steel and use phosphate treatment with a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance and long-term durability.

For the R8 application, Megan Racing specifies approximately 19.05 mm (0.75 in) of lowering at the front and 31.75 mm (1.25 in) at the rear. Megan’s current Japanese catalogue explicitly confirms both Coupe and Cabriolet applications for the 2008–2015 model range.
