Megan Racing Front Lower Rearward Control Arms – Audi A4 B8, A5 8T/8F, S4 & S5 – MRS-AU-1911
Description
Megan Racing MRS-AU-1911 front lower rearward control arms replace the factory curved lower arms with upgraded assemblies using higher-durometer reinforced rubber bushings. The firmer bushings reduce the flex found in softer factory rubber, helping improve steering response and suspension control while retaining more road isolation than a spherical-bearing setup. Megan lists these as direct OEM-replacement lower arms, supplied as a pair.
This is the rearward/curved arm of the two-piece front lower control-arm arrangement. It can be paired with MRS-AU-1912, which replaces the corresponding forward/straight lower arm. Megan Racing Japan specifies a 74.6 mm outer bushing diameter and M14 ball joint for MRS-AU-1911.
Important Fitment & Installation Notes: Because this arm uses an M14 ball joint, early S5 V8 applications need particular care. ECS specifically notes that the 4.2L S5 application requires vehicles produced from 3 November 2009 onward. Exact chassis, production date and ball-joint specification should therefore be confirmed before ordering where applicable. Professional installation is recommended, followed by inspection of all front suspension hardware and a wheel alignment if required.
Manufacturer Notice: Megan Racing classifies suspension arms as off-road use only and provides a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects, subject to its warranty terms. Megan also states that suspension components may not be completely torqued out of the box and that correct installation and final torque are the installer’s responsibility.
